Himachal Pradesh government today appointed Krishan Kumar Katoch as the new Vice Chancellor of Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya (CSKHPKV).
Katoch is currently posted as Director, Extension Education at the varsity.
Katoch would have a three-year tenure, subject to maximum age limit of 65 years, an official spokesman said.
Meanwhile, Himachal DGP, B Kamal Kumar retired today and Additional ADGP (Law and Order), Sanjay Kumar would take over as DGP tomorrow.
