Krishna will leave for Spain on a three-day visit this week during which a number of bilateral issues, including trade and economy, will be discussed.
During his visit from April 19 to 21, Krishna will meet his Spanish counterpart Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo.
He will also meet Artur Mas, President of the Government of Catalonia, and Gilbert Saboya Sunye, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Principality of Andorra.
Krishna will also call on King Don Juan Carlos of Spain and will interact with representatives of Indian community which is estimated to number about 50,000 in Spain.
During his visit, the Minister will chair a conference of heads of Indian Missions based in Europe.
Minister of State for External Affairs Preneet Kaur will also address the Conference.
There have been regular high-level ministerial and official visits from both sides, officials here said.
India-Spain economic, trade and investment relations have grown substantially in the last few years and the bilateral trade last year stood at USD 5.84 billion.
Spain is the 13th largest investor in India with total FDI at USD 820 million.
India has also helped in the setting up of the Casa de la India in the University of Valladolid in Spain.
