'Twilight' star Kristen Stewart received a nomination at the 2015 Cesar Award, which is the French equivalent of the Academy Awards, for her supporting role in the indie film 'Clouds of Sils Maria'.

The 2015 Hollywood awards season has been all about Julianne Moore as she's already won a Golden Globe and a SAG Award for her performance in 'Still Alice'. But Moore's 'Still Alice' Stewart, 24, has just accomplished something no American actress has done for the past 30 years, reported E! online.

The last American actor to receive a nomination and win at the Cesar Awards was Adrien Brody. Brody took home the award for Best Actor in 2003 for 'The Pianist'.

Stewart's 'Sils Maria' co-star Juliette Binoche was also nominated. 'Clouds of Sils Maria' stars Stewart as the assistant of an aging film star looking for a comeback (Binoche).

The 2015 Cesar Awards will take place February 20 in Paris, two days before this year's Oscars.
