Actress Kristen Wiig has ruled out a follow-up to her smash hit comedy 'Bridesmaids' after turning down a big money deal to write a sequel.

Wiig's film about a doomed bachelorette party was a surprise hit at the box office, raking in USD 288 million worldwide following its release in 2011, reported Contactmusic.

The cast, including Melissa MCCarthy and Maya Rudolph, have both voiced their desire to return for a second movie, but Wiig reveals she snubbed a sequel offer - despite being in line for a huge pay day.

"It wasn't a hard decision. We knew during the first one, this was it. We would have made a lot of money if there was a second one, but that's not my goal in my creative life.
