KSK Energy Ventures today said its shareholders have approved a proposal for raising Rs 5,000 crore through issuance of securities.
The special resolution was listed on the agenda of the annual general meeting of the company held today which was passed by the shareholders, KSK Energy Ventures said in a BSE filing.
An enabling resolution was passed in the annual general meeting held on September 24, 2016, to raise Rs 5000 crore by way of issuing securities. Pursuant to approval, no funds were raised, it said.
The company is engaged in development and operation of various power projects.
