The English-born Indian actor was allegedly looked after by staff at Diverse Talent Group when he landed the job in 2007, and has paid a percentage of his wages in commission in subsequent years.
However, in a suit filed at Los Angeles County Superior Court last week, lawyers for the company claim Nayyar stopped making payments September 2011, and allege they are owed USD 100,000, reported to TMZ.
But the 31-year-old doesn't believe he owes commissions to his former talent agency for his work on the CBS show.
"We have not yet seen a copy of the lawsuit, but we believe our client has acted lawfully. We will respond with a full statement once we have received a copy of the filing," said the actor's attorney Roger S Haber.
