City-based Kushabhau Thakre Patrakarita and Jansanchar Vishwavidyalaya today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with a leading media group for conducting training programmes and internship for its students.
Vice-Chancellor of the University Dr Sachchidanand Joshi and Chairman of 'Network18' Umesh Upadhyay signed the pact during the programme held here at Chief Minister Raman Singh's official residence.
Media plays an important role in spreading the art and culture of Chhattisgarh across the globe. It also ensures exposure and recognition to talented youth, Singh said on the occasion.
This university of state government was inaugurated by the then Prime Minister and creator of Chhattisgarh state Atal Bihari Vajpayee nearly 10 years back on April 16, 2005, he said.
