Kuwaiti Ambassador invites J-K CM to visit his country

Ambassador of Kuwait to India Sami Mohammad Al Sulaiman today extended an invitation to Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to visit his country.

"The Kuwaiti ambassador in India called on Omar here and extended invitation to him for visiting Kuwait," an official spokesman said after the meeting.

He said matters of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting between the two.

The tourist potential of Jammu and Kashmir received focus in the discussion among other things, the spokesman said.

The Kuwaiti Ambassador showed keen interest in the new initiatives taken by the state government for holistic and inclusive development and restoration of peace and tranquility in the state, he said.
