Dairy firm Kwality today reported a 19 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 42.27 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2016.
The company's net profit stood at Rs 35.43 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Income from operations rose 5.5 per cent to Rs 1,473.59 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal, from Rs 1,396.46 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Kwality has six plants with milk processing capacity of 3.4 million litres per day. The company sells milk and other dairy products under 'Dairy Best' brand.
