KXIP set to start their CLT20 training camp in Mohali tomorrow

Gearing up for the upcoming Champions League Twenty20, the Kings XI Punjab will hold a training camp at the PCA stadium tomorrow.

Top players will take part in the camp including George Bailey, Virender Sehwag, David Miller, Glenn Maxwell, Mitchell Johnson, besides Akshar Patel, Rishi Dhawan, Karanveer Singh, Thisara Perera, Laxmipathy Balaji, Parvinder Awana, Manan Vohra, Wriddhiman Saha, Anureet Singh and Mandeep Singh along with coach Sanjay Bangar, bowling coach Joe Dawes, and fielding coach R Sridhar.

Fraser Castellino, COO, Kings XI Punjab, said in a release today, "this is the first time we are competing in the Champions League and are absolutely thrilled to be a part of it..."
 

Commenting on the camp, he said, "We are going to work on the strengths of each player and further accentuate them in order to contribute effectively towards the team's performance in the upcoming tournament".

The team will be playing four matches at their home ground on September 18, 20, 26 and 28.
