KXIP supports a better life for underprivileged children

Kings XI Punjab will extend support to the cause of providing underprivileged children with a better lifestyle.

The franchise has pledged support to World Immunisation Week for the 4th consecutive year and as a part of the same, it aims to raise awareness about the importance of having full immunisations.

The Lions' squad, management and owners will be wearing a red wristband with the hashtag #shot4life during the games on the April 28 and 30 in order to showcase their support for the cause.

KXIP will also be providing better sanitation and a healthier environment to economically underprivileged students. As a part of this initiative, they will be refurbishing a government school in Mohali.
 

Commenting on the development, Satish Menon, Chief Executive Officer, KXIP said: "We are exceptionally proud to support the cause of providing support to underprivileged children. With nearly 1.3 million children in India suffering due to preventable diseases, supporting immunisations holds a high importance for the Kings XI family.
