Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from Indore Lok Sabha constituency, Anil Trivedi, said here today, that labour leader Homi Dazi had performed much more in merely a single term, than what BJP sitting MP Sumitra Mahajan did in her 25-year-long stint as member of the Lok Sabha.

Well known as a 'Messiah of Labourers', Homi Dazi won Lok Sabha polls as an independent in 1962 from Indore and passed away at the age of 83, on May 14, 2009.

"Homi Dazi's single term would prove heavy in comparison to Mahajan's seven terms," Trivedi said after filing his nomination papers.

He claimed that during this Lok Sabha election, there is a wave of change in the country and Mahajan would be defeated from Indore.

Trivedi said that he would raise the issues of cleanliness, good governance, employment for youth, as well as law and order.

"We will sweep out black money and black hearts with a broom during this Lok Sabha elections," he said.

Sumitra Mahajan has represented Indore since 1989 and has won Lok Sabha polls for the seventh time in a row.

Usually, the fight in Indore is between the BJP and the Congress, but this time AAP has emerged as a third force in the constituency.
