A Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) spokesperson, however, said the 'hydra' that unloaded on the labourer was brought to the site without DMRC's permission.
"A labourer working at the transit hostel accommodation site in Shastri Park died yesterday after a hydra functioning at the site unloaded its load on the labourer. Prima facie, it appears to be an error by the hydra operator.
"The hydra belonged to a sub contractor of the main contractor Aadhar Stambh and had been brought to the site without the permission of DMRC. An enquiry is being conducted," he said.
