A 21-year-old labourer died after falling from height at a construction site in Suratgarh Thermal Power Plant on Sri Ganganagar district, police said today.
Nakhindra, who hailed from Ugadi district in Odisha, fell down from a height after his safety belt broke off while doing welding work at plant's upcoming super critical site, they said.
He was rushed to a government hospital in Suratgarh from where the injured was referred to Sri Ganganagar hospital. He died in the hospital during treatment last night, police said.
An investigation is on in the matter, they said.
