The mishap occurred when a group of labourers were busy working at the excavation site in Branjan village, 35 kms from here, a police spokesman said.
One of the labourers, identified as Abdul Rehman, died in the incident.
Rehman's body has been handed over to his relatives for last rites, the spokesman said.
