Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt's 2006 blockbuster 'Lage Raho Munnabhai' has found a new audience in students from Poland and Germany who feel the movie has introduced them with the ideals of non-violence espoused by Mahatma Gandhi.

"After watching this film, I learnt about the non-violence movement of Mahatma Gandhi," said Marina Kaulich, a student from the University of Germany.

Marina is so impressed with the film that she has suggested its screening in theatres of her country.

She is the part of a group of 44 students from the Wroclaw University of Technology, Poland, and Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences, Germany, who are camping here as part of an exchange programme with the private educational institutes located at Limda on outskirt of Vadodara city.

These students are part of Summer School 2015 and have been undertaking two courses in streams of nursing, physiotherapy, business management, engineering, architecture pharmacy etc., at these institutes.

Their India sojourn included visit to Laxmivilas Palace here, Amul plant in Anand, Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad and to Sardar Sarovar dam on Narmada river at Kevadiya.

On her visit to Sabarmati ashram, Marina said, "It helped me and other students in learning the ideals of the great leader Mahatma Gandhi."

The students also visited Amul's plant in Anand.

"It (the plant) is the best example of how to empower women and make them financially independent. I have fallen in love with India and will prefer to visit the country again," said Anna, a 22-year-old student of architecture from the University of Poland.
