Anirban Lahiri will become the first Indian golfer to play in the prestigious Hero World Challenge 2015 when he participates in the PGA-sanctioned tournament next month in Bahamas.
Lahiri, 28, played all four Majors and World Golf Championships in 2015, and the highlight of the year was a fifth-place finish at the PGA Championships, the best-ever by an Indian.
He earned his PGA TOUR card for the 2015-16 season and won Hero Indian Open. He also became the first Indian player to feature in the Presidents Cup last month.
