Pakistan today suspended Lahore- Delhi 'Dosti' bus service indefinitely at India's request in the wake of violence and arson in Jat agitation in Haryana in which ten persons have been killed and about 150 injured.
"The Indian government has requested us to suspend the Lahore-Delhi Dosti Bus service till the situation in Haryana comes under control. We (Indian and Pakistani governments) have mutually decided to suspend the Dosti Bus service," Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation Manager Col (retired) Khalid told reporters today.
The service will resume after getting clearance from the Indian government, he said.
