RJD President Lalu Prasad Yadav is "doing fine" post his cardiac surgery and is currently undergoing physiotherapy sessions at a city hospital, where former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar met him today.
According to a senior official of the Asian Heart Institute, where Yadav was admitted on Monday, the 66-year-old political leader "is doing fine" post surgery and currently undergoing physiotherapy sessions.
"Lalu Prasad Yadav is stable. All his invasive monitoring devices have been removed. His vital parameters are within normal limits and physiotherapy and other exercises are on," Vijay D'Silva, Director, Medical Affairs and Critical Care at the institute in suburban Mumbai, said.

During the surgery, which lasted for over six hours, the Bihar politician underwent aortic valve replacement, aortic repair and repair of a 3 mm hole in the heart.
Meanwhile, Kumar called on his foe-turned-friend in the hospital and enquired about his health.
The RJD and JD(U) leaders met for the first time after their newly stitched alliance won 6 of the 10 Assembly seats that went to by-polls in Bihar. Results were announced on August 25.
Kumar, who was on a day-long visit to Mumbai, also met Mohan Prakash, Congress General Secretary in-charge of Maharashtra, who was admitted in Nanavati Hospital after suffering a fracture in his leg.
