Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad Yadav on Monday appeared before a special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court in Ranchi in connection with a fodder scam case.
The RJD president appeared before the special court of Shivpal Singh in connection with the case number 38A/96 pertaining to fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 3.31 crore from Dumka Treasury in undivided Bihar during the 1990s.
Former Members of Parliament Jagdish Sharma and R K Rana also appeared before the court.

Presently, there are only 29 accused left as 15 others had died, two turned approvers and one accused got relief from the high court.
Earlier Lalu was convicted on September 30, 2013 and sent to Birsa Munda Central Jail in Ranchi in RC case number 20A-96 before being granted bail by the apex court after he spent about two and half months in the jail.
The incarceration led to his losing his Lok Sabha membership.
