RJD MLA and former Bihar minister Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder son of party chief Lalu Prasad, may soon be seen playing a role in a Hindi movie titled 'Rudra the Avatar'.
The 28 year old leader, who is said to have previously acted in a Bhojpuri movie, recently posted teasers of the upcoming flick on his Instagram account and official twitter handle.
The posters show the former health minister striking different poses, donning jeans, T-shirt and sunglasses, with the tagline 'coming soon'.
However, there was no mention of other cast and crew members or even the banner of the production house involved in it.
While the MLA was himself not available for further details, a source close to his family claimed that details regarding the proposed movie will be made public in due course of time.
Tej Pratap, a year elder to Tejashwi Yadav, has been seen on many occasions donning the avatar of Lord Krishna playing flute.
It may be remembered that his father Lalu Prasad had also hit the silver screen through a special appearance in a movie "Padmashree Laloo Prasad Yadav", a Bollywood comedy film directed by and starring Mahesh Manjrekar, Sunil Shetty and Johnny Lever in 2005.
Meanwhile, the posters of Tej Pratap upcoming film became an instant hit on the micro-blogging site, with more than a thousand likes and over a hundred retweets.
The mercurial leader was also trolled by many who wrote about his own controversial behavior, the alleged misrule when his party was in power in Bihar and also misspelling the word coming as cominng.
Yadav, who has been politically overshadowed by his younger brother Tejashwi, has triggered controversies on a number of occasions in the past on account of his remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi.
Soon after his marriage to the daughter of a party MLA Chandrika Rai last month, he had caused a flutter with a tweet wherein he had drawn an analogy from the epic Mahabharata which had given rise to speculations that he was dejected upon playing second fiddle to his kid brother and planning retirement from politics.
However, Tej Pratap Yadav later clarified that he neither wanted to give up politics, nor did he nurse any grouse against Tejashwi, using the endearment kaleje ka tukda for his younger brother.
