Singer Lana Del Rey's maiden concert in Israel has been postponed, due to the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

The show was earlier supposed to take place on August 20 but will now have a new date, which is yet to be announced, reported Aceshowbiz.

The postponement has already been confirmed by singer Max Jury, who is also a part of the concert.

"Unfortunately the show with LanaDelRey in Tel Aviv (city in Israel) on August 20 has been postponed. Will let you all know the rescheduled date as soon as possible," he wrote on Twitter.

Concert promoter Rani Rahav also said in a statement, "Lana apologises to the fans who bought tickets for the show. Details on a new date will be announced in the coming days."

The 29-year-old star is not the first musician to have cancelled or delayed a concert in Israel since the conflict began last month.

Artistes like Cee-Lo Green, Megadeth, Neil Young and Backstreet Boys have all announced the cancellation of their shows in the territory.
