Lance Havaldar cremated with military honours

The mortal remains of Lance Havaldar Sanwarmal were today consigned to flames with full military honours in Phulera tehsil in the district.

34-year old Sanwarmal had suddenly collapsed at a high altitude post in Jammu and Kashmir and air evacuated to the nearest military hospital and then to command hospital in Udhampur where he died on April 12.

Sanwarmal had a massive intracerebral bleeding with loss of consciousness and he suffered cardiac arrest and passed away, according to defence spokesperson.

His unit official and other ranks, local public representatives, district administration and police officials attended the funeral.
