A group of tribal people today made allegation of land grabbing against some staff of Isha Foundation and sought police protection.
Some tribal people led by Muthammal, from Mullankad village in the district, submitted a memorandum to the Sub-Collector's office here alleging that Isha Foundation staff were trying to grab their village land.
They also claimed the staff had threatened them.

Isha Foundation was not immediately available for comment.
However, in another memorandum to the authorities, P Gayathri, who works for the Foundation and is Muthammal's daughter, charged a man, who claims to be a journalist, with instigating the other group.
Claiming that she had studied upto 11th standard with financial aid from the Foundation, like several other tribal students, Gayathri said Isha also helped her when she was suffering from a heart ailment.
She sought immediate action against the other group for attempting to "defame" the Foundation.
