In an embarrassment to the Congress-led UDF government in Kerala, two ministers found themselves on opposite sides over the issue of land title deed distribution during a state cabinet meeting today.
Revenue minister Adoor Prakash while attending a title deed distribution function at Thrissur said a dispute had cropped up between him and forest minister Thiruanchroor Radhakrishnan at yesterday's cabinet meeting over the issue.
Prakash alleged that the forest department had issued an order to "take over" revenue land without the knowledge of his department.

Minister for Co-operation N Balakrishnan, who was also present at the title deeds distribution function, was witness to what had occurred, Prakash added.
Reacting to the remark, Radhakrishnan said as far as he was concerned, there was no dispute over the issue. His department was positive towards distribution of title dees.
"The Forest department is ready to issue title deeds in accordance with law. People would stand to benefit only if it has the backing of the law," he added.
Radhakrishnan also said it was not proper for him to reveal what had transpired at the cabinet meeting. "It is violative of oath of secrecy and Constitution', he added.
