"The central government has sent the nine Sri Lankan Air Force personnel to Bangalore today for training at the Yalahanka airbase. By doing so, it has given rise to a feeling amidst people of Tamil Nadu if the union government, in which DMK is a constituent, is in favour of those working against Tamils' interest," she said.

The desire of Tamil people was to see those charged with war crimes (during the last leg of war against Elam) being punished, she said.

"Tamils will not accept the training being imparted in Bangalore. I insist that the Sri Lankan personnel should not be trained anywhere in India and the Centre should take steps for their return to Sri Lanka," she demanded.
