Districts to be covered in the fourth phase include Ghaziabad, Bijnore, Pilibhit, Mathura, Kanshiram Nagar, Jhansi, Mahoba, Chitrakoot, Pratapgarh, Unnao, Sitapur, Bahraich, Ambedkar Nagar, Sant Kabir Nagar, Kushinagar, Ghazipur and Sonbhadra.
In this phase, 1,843 candidates are in the fray for the posts of mayor and chairmen of 136 local bodies while 13,608 candidates will contest for the posts of corporator.
In the naxal-affected Chitrakoot and Mahoba districts of Bundelkhand, polling would be held from 6.30 AM to 5.30 AM whereas in remaining districts it would be held between 7 AM and 6 PM.
More than 55 lakh voters are expected to vote at 1,902 polling stations.
