The Rs 1.50-crore machine was used at Belle Vue clinic in south Kolkata to replace both the knees of the woman, who had been suffering from acute pain for the last few years, CEO of the facility P Tondon said.
Tondon claimed the machine was the first of its kind in eastern region.
