Prime Minister of Latvia Maris Kucinskis today called on Maharashtra Governor C Vidyasagar Rao and discussed matters of mutual interest.
Kucinskis, accompanied by a high-level delegation, met Rao at his official residence Raj Bhavan here.
Matters of mutual interest between Maharashtra and Latvia were discussed at the meeting, said a release from the Governor's office.
A number of senior officials from both sides were present on the occasion. They included Aivars Groza, Latvia's Ambassador to India, and his Indian counterpart Monika Kapil Mohta, it added.
