A laundry man from Kalyan East was booked for allegedly molesting two minor girls belonging to a family here, police said today.
Satraj Kanojia (38) from Kolsewadi locality was booked late last night after he called the victims, aged around six to his laundry shop around 5.30 PM under the pretext of giving them chocolates and molested them, API MS Mane of Kolsewadi police station told PTI.
The accused was booked under sections 354 of the IPC and section 4 of POCSO Act of 2012 after one of the girls complained to her mother about the incident, the police official said.
The launder allegedly stripped the girls naked and molested them, the complaint said.
No arrest have been made so far.
