Punjab Congress President Partap Singh Bajwa today slammed SAD-BJP led state government for a "total collapse" in law and order, and blamed Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal for the "deteriorating" situation of the state.
"With patronage of the Akali Dal leaders to the anti-social elements and the police being subservient to the political bosses, Punjab has turned into 'Wild West' with no fear of the law.
"It is the Chief Minister who is directly responsible for the deteriorating situation in the state. Nobody is safe here," Bajwa said in a statement.
