law and order situation in TN becoming worse: Ramadoss

Pattali Makkal Katchi today alleged that the law and order situation in Tamil Nadu was becoming worse and there was increase in the murder and crime in the last three years.

In the last three years, there were 6,170 murders and over 60,000 crimes, including theft, robbery and waylaying, in the State, under the rule of AIADMK, PMK founder leader Dr S Ramadoss told reporters here.

Reiterating the party's demand for reintroduction of ballot papers in the coming polls, instead of EVMs, Ramadoss blamed the machines for the land slide victory of AIADMK in the last Lok Sabha elections.

Ramadoss exuded confidence that his party would come to power in the Assembly elections due in 2016 in the state.
 

To a question on recent remarks of former justice, Markandeya Katju with regard to a judge in Tamil Nadu, Ramadoss admitted that there was political intervention in judiciary.
