Justice S N Kapoor and Mool Chand Sharma were today appointed as full-time members of the Law Commission.
While Kapoor is a former judge of the Delhi High Court, Sharma is Vice Chancellor of Central University of Haryana.
Yogesh Tyagi, Dean and Professor of Law, South Asian University and R Venkataramani, senior advocate in the Supreme Court, were appointed as part-time members of the 20th Law Commission.

The 20th Law Commission was constituted on September 1, 2012. It has a three-year term, ending on August 31, 2015. Former Supreme Court judge D K Jain is the chairman of the Commission.
The Commission, the term of which will end in August 2015, is mandated to give opinion to government on complex legal issues but its recommendations are not binding.
