Republican Rep. Randy Weber has apologised for a tweet that compared President Barack Obama to Adolf Hitler to make a point related to the Paris terrorist attacks.
In a written statement, Weber said, "It was not my intention to trivialize the Holocaust nor to compare the president to Adolf Hitler."
Yesterday night, the lawmaker tweeted that even "Hitler thought it more important than Obama to get to Paris," referring to Hitler's visit to the vanquished city during World War II.
