Advocate Brijlal's car hit a motorcycle carrying policemen when he was on way to court this morning, Ghaziabad Bar Secretary Giriraj Singh told reporters.
The policemen misbehaved with Brijlal and later stopped his car near the Hapur chungi, he said adding, they damaged the car window.
On reaching court, Brijlal informed the other advocates about the incident, Singh said.
Brijlal, later handed over his complaint to police.
Circle Officer Praveen Ranjan met the group of protesting lawyers and assured them of required action against the alleged policemen.
