A lawyer has been arrested for carrying two mobiles, concealed in his socks, while going to meet his client at the district jail here, the police said today.
According to the jail superintendent, the lawyer had submitted a mobile phone while entering the prison premises to meet his client yesterday.
But during checking, two mobile phones were found concealed in his socks, he said.
The lawyer was handed over to police, who arrested him for carrying prohibited items in jail, a police official said.
