Lawyers of Patiala House district courts, where trial of important cases like 2G and CWG scams are going on, will observe a day-long strike tomorrow against Delhi government's "arbitrary" decision to re-locate the court complex.
The New Delhi Bar Association (NDBA) today said that in a meeting of the executive committee held yesterday, the members had "expressed their anguish over the unilateral cabinet decision" to re-locate the court complex from Patiala House to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg here.
The lawyers body said the executive committee had met Union Law Minister Kapil Sibal on September 20 and Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on September 21 and submitted written representations pointing out the flaws and insufficient infrastructure in carrying out the cabinet decision.
