Lazard sells stake in ICIL for Rs 38 cr

Foreign fund Lazard today offloaded part stake in home textiles firm ICIL for more than Rs 38 crore.

According to the bulk deal data of BSE, Lazard Emerging Markets Small Cap Equity Trust sold 19.24 lakh shares amounting to 0.97 per cent stake of Indo Count Industries Ltd.

The shares were sold at an average price of Rs 200, valuing the transaction at Rs 38.48 crore.

At the end of March quarter, Lazard held 55.01 lakh shares or 2.79 per cent stake in ICIL.

Meanwhile, The Royal Bank Of Scotland PLC As Trustee Of Jupiter India Fund bought 19.96 lakh shares of the firm for Rs 39.91 crore.
 

The shares of ICIL ended the day on BSE at Rs 203.10, up 4.21 per cent from the previous close.

Indo Count is a manufacturer and exporter of home textile products with presence across 49 markets globally.
