Bond girl Lea Seydoux has been offered the lead role in X-Men movie "Gambit" opposite Channing Tatum.
The 30-year-old "Saint Laurent" star is being considered for the role of Belladonna Boudreaux aka Bella, Gambit's love since childhood, but eventually gains powers of her own and becomes the head of the Assassins Guild, reported Deadline.
To be directed by "Rise of the Planet of the Apes," helmer Rupert Wyatt, the script for the film is penned by Josh Zetumer based on a treatment by Gambit co-creator Chris Claremont.
Tatum along with Reid Carolin, Lauren Shuler Donner and Simon Kinberg is producing the film.
