Taking weak cues from global markets, lead prices were down 0.33 per cent at Rs 106.10 per kg in futures trade in evening session today, as speculators reduced their positions.

The exchange opened for the evening session as it remained closed in the morning for 'Gurunanak Jayanti'.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for delivery this month was trading 35 paise, or 0.33 per cent down at Rs 106.10 per kg in a business turnover of 555 lots.

Similarly, the metal for delivery in December contracts was down by 30 paise, 0.28 per cent to Rs 106.75 per kg in 16 lots.

Analysts attributed the fall in lead futures to a weak global trend where copper and other industrial metals weakened on concerns over Chinese demand, weighed on lead futures prices here.
