Lead prices on Friday rose 65 paise to Rs 154.35 per kg in futures trade due to pick up in demand in spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, lead contracts for November delivery traded up by 65 paise, or 0.42 per cent, at Rs 154.35 per kg in a business turnover of 1,320 lots.

Market analysts attributed the rise in lead futures to pick up in demand from battery makers in spot market.
