Lead prices softened by 0.30 per cent to Rs 149.50 per kg in futures trade today amid sluggish domestic demand and profit booking by speculators.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for delivery in March month moved down by 45 paise, or 0.30 per cent to Rs 149.50 per kg in business turnover of 416 lots.
Likewise, the metal for delivery in April contracts shed 40 paise, or 0.27 per cent to Rs 150.15 per kg in 224 lots.
