Lead futures prices today rose marginally to Rs 136.80 per kg on rising spot demand and positive cues from global markets.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for delivery in December traded 30 paise, or 0.22 per cent, higher at Rs 136.80 per kg with a turnover of 132 lots.
The metal for delivery in January also rose by 10 paise, or 0.07 per cent to trade at Rs 138.15 per kg, in a business turnover of 40 lots.
Marketmen said besides better demand from domestic battery-makers, a firm trend in base metals at the London Metal Exchange, influenced lead prices at futures trade here.
