In thin trading, lead prices fell by Rs 2 per kg in the local non-ferrous metals market today largely due to weak demand from battery-makers.
However, copper, nickel and other base metals continued to trade at previous levels on some support.
Traders said the fall in lead prices was mostly attributed to sluggish demand from domestic battery-makers and a weak trend in global markets.
