Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh, former CM Farooq Abdullah and other leaders of the BJP, Congress and the NC today paid tributes to Dogra leader and the state's ex-finance minister Girdhari Lal Dogra on his 30th death anniversary.
Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Kavinder Gupta, state Finance Minister Haseeb Drabu, other ministers and legislators visited the memorial of the leader at Dogra Chowk and paid floral tributes to him.
On the occasion, Singh, who interacted with Dogra's daughter Sheetal Jaitley, said the contribution of the late leader has no parallels in the annals of the society as he selflessly contributed in the social and political spheres of the state.

Former Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah flanked by other National Conference leaders visited the memorial and offered their tributes to the Dogra leader.
State Congress president and former minister G A Mir, along with other leaders of the party, visited the memorial and paid floral tributes.
Addressing the gathering, Mir described Dogra as a great leader of the party who remained committed to the principles of secularism, socialism and democracy and fought against the communal and divisive forces throughout his life.
