Dr P Balaram, Former Director, Indian Institute of Sciences, Bangalore, today exhorted graduates to learn lesson from failure which was part of research and they should be resilient to confront failures.
In countries like India, level of resilience needed was still higher due to social and political intervention, Balaram said in his address to the 35th convocation of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University here.
Research aspirants should crawl in the thorny pathways to wisdom with conviction and confidence to bring transformation in the level of farmers, the backbone of Indian economy, he said.
