Press Trust of India Kalpetta (Ker)
CPI(M) Politburo member Brinda Karat today alleged that people were "fed up with the anti-people policies" of both the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government at the Centre and the United Democratic Front (UDF) Government in Kerala.

Speaking to mediapersons here, she said she was confident on the victory of LDF in Kerala and Left Front in West Bengal in the Lok Sabha polls.

Earlier, addressing an electioneering meeting for LDF candidate Sathyan Mokeri in Wayanad constituency, she said that current political scenario in the country was suitable for Left parties and it would pave the way to form a secular alternative government at the Centre.
