Left leaders and workers shouted slogans demanding CBI probe in the murder cases of CPI(M-L) Liberation leader Bhaiyaram Yadav in Rohtas and a 'mukhiya' Devendra Kumar Singh alias Chhotu Mukhiya in Aurangabad districts earlier this year.
They asked the state to recommend for the probe to Centre as it has done in the murder case of the Ranvir Sena chief Brahmeshwar Singh alias 'Mukhiyaji' in Bhojpur district.
The protesters also demanded a CBI probe in the land scam in Araria district where the land of farmers were purchased by middlemen and sold to the state at high cost for distibution among the landless 'maha-dalit' families.
CPI (M-L) Liberation state Secretary Kumar Parvez claimed that about 50,000 left workers from across the state took part in the dharna.
