Lashing out at TMC government over lack of industrialisation and increasing number of unemployed youth in West Bengal, the youth wings of opposition Left Front today decided to launch agitation programmes from September.

The Left youth wings led by DYFI of CPI(M) announced two rallies by it on September 15.

"We have decided to organise two massive rallies against the TMC government on September 15 - one in Kolkata and the other in Siliguri. Our agitation is against the incresing number of unemployed youths in Bengal and lack of industrialisation. Entire September we will organise rallies and street programs to make the people aware of the false promises that TMC has made," DYFI state secretary Jamir Mollah said.

He said TMC before coming to power in 2011 had promised creation of two lakhs jobs every year. But people have lost jobs during its reign as various factories and units have closed down.

"We want to unmask TMC and the false promises it made," Mollah said.
