Aiming to create awareness about laws related to forests, wildlife and environment, a two-day legal training programme is being organised for women forest guards at Sariska sanctuary here.
Organised by the Tiger Trust India (TTI) in collaboration with the state forest department, the programme scheduled to commence on December 14 will train around 400 women foresters.
"About 400 women forest guards working in various forest and wildlife areas of the state would attend the training session," said project coordinator Prerna Sharma.
The forest department which reserves 33 per cent forest guard seats for female candidates employed 400 such women who needed training about the latest laws related to forest, wildlife and environment, she said.
